Molokini crater is one of the most popular snorkel destinations. Calypso is a triple deck high speed catamaran for your ultimate Maui snorkel experience to Molokini and Turtle Arches. Molokini crater is a marine life conservation district and is home to a variety of fish like Picasso trigger fish (Hawaii’s state fish), reef triggerfish, threadfin butterfly fish and parrotfish. Calypso Molokini Snorkel is a 5-hour experience and is ideal for all ages with lots of activities to choose from. You have two fun slides to shoot down into the ocean. For thrill seekers you can go up to the second deck and jump off! Looking for a lower keyway to start your Molokini snorkeling experience? Calypso has two large staircases that lower down into the ocean for easy in and out access. Interested in seeing the majestic green sea turtles in their natural habitat? That is your second snorkeling site! Just remember, we don’t touch or approach. We observe and take lots of photos as you are snorkeling alongside of them. Your snorkel boat also has a glass bottom viewing area for those that may feel more comfortable remaining on the boat and watching the fish.
Your morning starts off with a continental breakfast. Your friendly crew will be coming around to provide your snorkeling equipment. They will also give you instructions on how to use it and snorkel technics. Lunch includes deli or pulled pork sandwiches or quinoa salad for vegetarians. Soft drinks are available throughout your tour.
Check in Ma’alaea Harbor 6:45 am (have ample time for parking)
Bring a towel, reef safe sunscreen, sunglasses, light coverup.
